contemporary interior 3 by jennomarco contemporary interior 3 by jennomarco
hi!
i have always liked to see designs where some parts of the house are sunken...so i have came up with this design where the living area is sunken (just to break the monotony)...

still inspired by Asian contemporary ideas...

comments are very much welcome and are highly appreciated...

3ds max 2010 plus vray
autocad 2010

thanks!

Our work is getting better. No watermark. Have we mastered the act of hiding them or acquired a full working version of Vray?

In my opinion, change the orientation of the wooden tiles on the face of the goings of the steps.

You need to work more on the noise of reflective surfaces.

Much glare coming from outside so washing the dining area with too much light.

Designwise kiss, kiss. A beam or archway between the lounge and the living will further distinguish the two spaces would be appreciated.

hehe..still the demo version of vray yet, i was capable of hiding it...

actually, i have thought of that too regarding the wood orientation...i was thinking of most of asian contempo that uses horizontal lines, rather than vertical lines....
i wonder why the noise is still there...i have lessened the noise there..perhaps an additional light would aid that...
i don't really understand but i really love looking at scenes with extreme light at the outside or nearby the doorstep....

good suggestion! perhaps there should be a beam crossing the ceiling! nice idea..i agree!

thanks a lot for interacting with this...endless thanks!

I do to use Vray but sent one of your rendering(with settings used) to me I could show folks and that uses it and ask to ways to eliminate the noise.

what do you mean buddy? do you want me to send you my setting for vray when i.m rendering?

I do not use max or vray so I use accurender as an example. A typical exterior rendering settings will be;
sun:- on
sky:- HDRI (intensity 100)
lights:- on (100 spot lights with 10000watts each)
Indirect:- on (exterior)
background:- visible
reflection:- sky
refraction:- visible

etc

These give another user an idea of what the problem might be when he sees the output of such settings

ah that's it...i have always been curious what accurender is...

im using these settings:

*vray sun and vray sky is on with defaultu settings
*GI settings on
* Irradiance map, and light cache
*Exponential color mapping
* adaptive DMC
* mitchel-Netravalli

i think those are the major settings i have...my estimate, i will have to play with the vray sun...

what software do you use in complemetn with accurender?

Photoshop to mask in background
